Laser Hair Removal

Compared to home care, laser hair removal is far more long lasting. Compared to other professional treatments such as electrolysis, laser hair removal is more efficient and comfortable. Rather than treating follicles individually, laser hair removal vaporizes thousands of hairs at a time as thermal energy is absorbed into the pigment within the hairs.

Due to the way laser light is absorbed into pigment, the tissue surrounding the follicles is left untouched. Because pigment is a necessary component to efficiency, laser hair removal may not be suitable for every person such as those with gray hair. Efficiency: Laser hair removal will save you considerable amounts of time each month on the hassles of regular hair removal treatments. Lasers work quickly and efficiently to cover large treatment areas. Each laser pulse takes only a fraction of a second and treats many hairs simultaneously.
Effectiveness: The procedure can offer permanent removal of about 80 - 90 percent of unwanted hair. Darker and coarser hairs can typically take an average of about three to seven sessions, but you won’t have to worry about hair re-growth in those areas once completed.
Precision: Lasers may be precisely directed to selectively treat the desired areas without affecting the surrounding skin. You can even hone in on delicate or small areas such as the eyebrows and upper lip, with exact precision.

Over the course of the next several weeks, you will notice that the treated hair begins falling out, and your skin will start to become gradually smoother, with less and less hair as time passes.

Don’t forget to use a good sunscreen every time you go outside during the first month following treatment, in order to protect your skin from the sun’s harmful rays and prevent possible reaction of the treated skin.

Your follow-up treatments should be scheduled about four to six weeks apart, and you may require several treatments to achieve sufficient hair removal from target areas. Once you achieve your aesthetic goal, follow-up treatments once or twice yearly will help you maintain fabulous results!
